For more than a decade, Martin's Fine Desserts has been providing Salt Lake City's finest hotels, restaurants and upscale clientele with exquisite desserts, custom wedding and celebration cakes.
Martin's culinary career began at the early age of 14 when he worked for a family owned bakery in England. While attending Barnfield college, (culinary school) Martin successfully earned a Silver Medal in a pastry competition at Hotelympia in London in 1982.
Martin arrived in the United States in the early eighties and embarked on a career that took him to some of the finest hotels in San Jose, Orlando, Washington DC and Nassau, Bahamas. He is now into his 17th year in business in Salt Lake City.
Blending the finest European tradition of baking with cutting edge tastes and designs, Martin has produced high quality desserts for celebrities, local political leaders and anyone who has a discriminating palate. He uses only the absolute finest ingredients, time tested scratch formulas and he believes in living green. Martin uses energy efficient lighting and heating.
